My mom's and Mason's birthday happen to be within 2 days of each other so this year we decided to celebrate them as a family together. Geoff & I absolutely LOVE Korean BBQ so we decided to share it with the family. They complained about the drive a little since its in LA but they ended up loving the food. It was fun to have the whole family together with such awesome food! Everyone got to try new things and a few were a surprise in taste to some of us ha ha ha. Definitely going to stick to the steak or beef. Pork was pretty much bacon that was a little thicker. The marinated steak is the best with the rice and lettuce and sauces. MMMmmmm. Can't wait to go back!

This past weekend (Thurs - Sun) I had the privilege of joining Geoff and his family on their annual trip to Lake Nacimiento. The water was perfect temp and the weather was amazing. His brother, Andy, has a wake boarding boat that all 15 or so of us were all able to enjoy. We found a great cove to hang out in while others went out on the boat to go tubing or wake board or surf. I tried tubing for the first time and it was a lot of fun! We found a campsite that had a view to the lake that was awesome. We all had an interesting time setting up camp. A few of us were less knowledgeable on setting up tents lol. We all had a meal assigned to us and I couldn't believe all the yummy food we had! Tostadas, Soup, breakfast burritos, dutch oven cake and of course smores! We had a few little ones with us and they were so well behaved. It was so much fun having them there as well. Geoff and a few of the boys decided to cliff jump of this few story high cliff. It was nuts! Geoff and I got up Sunday morning and taped the sunrise. It was so beautiful. We found the perfect spot where we saw the sunrise come up over the mountain and reflect off the water. It was a perfect ending to the weekend.
